The thick, water-based solution sits on the glass without running. Unlike slip solutions, it provides a slightly tacky surface once squeegeed, helping lock film edges in place and prevent contamination from re-entering the install area.

ImporTint Sauce is a specialised installation solution designed to help window film installers manage contamination during film application. It is used in targeted areas where dirt, debris, or dot matrix can interfere with achieving a clean install.

The formula is colourless, odourless, non-toxic, and hypoallergenic, making it suitable for regular use during installation work.

Tinters commonly use ImporTint Sauce for:

Contamination control around seals and window edges
Locking film edges in place during installation
Preventing debris from pushing back under the film
Laying down film over dot matrix areas

Because of its thicker consistency, only a small amount is needed in problem areas, while standard slip solution is still used across the main glass surface.
